MCDonald's Mega Mac & Shake Shake Mcfries Competition - My Hubby Won The Grand Prize

Okay, Finally - I have been waiting for two weeks to blog about this. Last year November my hubby entered the MC Donald's Mega Mag Competition & on Monday 19 January 2009 he got the phone call! HE HAS WON THE GRAND PRIZE, BRAND NEW KIA SPORTAGE!!!!!!!! They drew his lucky number!!!!

This morning we went to collect his prize -WOW! I am waiting for all the press releases and as soon as I have them, I will start scrapbooking.

I'm Loving It!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Being Me

I asked my hubby to take a photo of me for the blog and I got all these pictures. Not quite what I wanted, so I decided to do a page "Happy Being Me".

I must say it feels a bit strange doing a page on myself. I'm normally the one taking photo's - but it was fun!

My baby (Kruz) is turning 3 on the 9th of Feb. So I decided to make him a sailboat birthday card.
This card is perfect for all those scraps of paper.

Gift Idea for Valentines Day

Valentines Day is around the corner – so here is a gift idea for your loved one.

This is great for hubby’s desk or study at home. Make him a photo cube desktop calendar with a matching paper holder - the paper holder also has place for his pens.

I asked my hubby - If I had to make you something for valentines day what would you want?
His answer – The photo cube calendar, but I’d really like a brag book of us & the kids, and I will treasure this forever. So guess what he is getting – a brag book.

What about gifts for the girls?
My suggestion for the men out there is go to your local scrapbooking store for advice and a selection of goodies for the perfect gift.

What Would You Use As The Page Title

Kruz (my son) got a skateboard from his Grandpa! In this photo he looks very pleased with himself - all I see are injuries!!!

What would you use as your page title for this pic. All that comes to mind is DANGER BOY or BRAT!

Today She's 8 - With Pocket

Shanice's (my daughter) birthday was on the 7/11/08 - it has taken me a while to do her birthday pages, but I am glad it took a while because I just love this new paper we just got in stock.

I decided to use a pocket on the page because I had to do some journaling about what she thought she was getting - very funny story.

Cupcake Card Template

Here is the cupcake card template for card 1 & 2. If you look at the first card you can see the flap stuck on the back of the cupcake. I hope you can use this and make your own cupcake card from looking at the pictures. I will be doing a step by step for this card during the week for those of you who are not sure how to put it together.
