I have loads of wine, champagne & cherry glasses that I just don't use. So I have decided to use them for gel candles. I made these on Friday & if you are wondering why they have bubbles... that's the effect I wanted for these 2 candles.
I think these are great Christmas or birthday gifts.

Using this technique can make the world of difference to your layouts & beyond the pages projects. Paper tearing works well on nearly any type of project and brings a rustic and homemade look to them. Use paper tearing when you want an old or antique feel to your projects or to add some extra dimension to a flat project.
Tearing will have varying effects on different types of paper. The direction that you tear will affect the way your paper tearing looks. The speed that you tear your paper can also make a difference in the end result.
Mom wanted something to fill a gap on the kitchen wall & this is what I came up with.
I got a large wooden fork, knife & spoon – used my Antique Rust Kit to give them the antiqued look. I then got hubby to cut out 3 large wooden boards, covered them with scraps of paper (tearing) & once dry gave the boards a coat of varnish. Then using heavy duty double sided tape we stuck the knife, fork & spoon to the boards, and then stuck the boards to the wall.
I love paper tearing and it' a great way to get rid of all those scraps!
