Handmade Handbag

 
I have been making loads of handmade goodies for the boutique up the road as well as handmade goodies for the festival in June. So this morning I decided to try making handbags & this is what I came up with. I used scraps of fabric, lace & crochet flowers. I'm so chuffed with the finished product :) 

I have made a few other goodies that I will share with you later I just need to add the finishing touches.

Christmas Tags / Tree Decorations

Well this is a great project for the kids. Shanice used large puffy stickers and I helped her cut out a shape for each sticker. This was going to be tree decorations and then she decided that they are going to be used for gift tags - but she's not sure. So I'll have to wait and see!!!!

This is a cheap project to keep them busy  - R30 and they can make 7 tags + it keeps them busy for about an hour.

Well I think they are quite cute and I really hope they end up on our Christmas Tree!!! :)

Party Invite On A Stick

I have been playing around with party invites for Shanice and this is the 1st one. It's a large flower and puff box on a stick. Inside the puff box is the invite and some yummy treats. She loves it and this is all she talks about!!

You only need 1 piece of 12 X 12 paper to make the flowers and puff box - I recommend you use double sided paper. You will find the templates for the flowers and puff box @ Mirkwood Designs.

I'm working on some more of these little gift boxes on a stick - I think they will be great to stick in a bunch of flowers or in a pot plant with a card inside.

What would you call this?

Well I'm not to sure what to call this? A standing frame? This is what we will be doing for the 2nd project at the school. All you need is 1 patterned paper, 1 card stock and some embellishments. Oh, and the sticks cut to size!

Instead of embellishments I used some more junk jewelry to decorate and flowers. I also have not added photos just yet - will do when I have done the class. There are 3 sides to decorate and add photos. I'm thinking this is a great gift idea, Christmas is around the corner!!!!

Altered Note Book - For the kids

This is the 1st project that I did for the girls @ school - they all loved it!!!

Well we have loads of note books in stock and this is one of the classes we will be doing during school holidays. The class is an hour long and the fee is R35 per person and will include all materials.
